Truthout
Truthout is a nonprofit online media platform which seeks to provide "independent reporting and commentary on a diverse range of social justice issues."[1] It receives no funding from corporate backers nor advertisement revenue, relying entirely on contributions from individual readers and foundation donations.[1] Truthout was founded in 2001.[1]
