Tom H. Hastings is the Director of Peace and Nonviolence Studies at Portland State University Conflict Resolution Program, and author of: The Lessons of Nonviolence; Nonviolent Response to Terrorism; Ecology of War & Peace; Power; and Meek Ain't Weak: Nonviolent Power and People of Color.
He is on the Boards of Directors of the Peace and Justice Studies Association, the International Peace Research Association, the Metta Center for Nonviolence.
