BlogPAC
BlogPAC is the first political action committee (PAC) "to wage politics entirely online," its website states. [1]
BlogPAC was "designed by bloggers for bloggers and blog readers. Rather than operating primarily as a means to channel money to electoral campaigns (ActBlue already does an excellent job at that), under the new management of Chris Bowers and Matt Stoller of MyDD.com., the mission of BlogPac will be primarily to defend the netroots and improve the quality of online activism. In campaigns to improve the image of the netroots in the established news media and to poll and understand the netroots, BlogPac is already well under way in its new mission," ActBlue states. [2] BlogPAC states that it is "an organization that is for the netroots."
