The Fudge Report
The Fudge Report was launched August 2, 2006, by the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC).
Mission
"With Republicans running a huge misinformation and smear campaign, the DSCC is proud to announce the Fudge Report. The goal of the site is to serve as a central depot for people to access information and news coverage about GOP Senate candidates," Michael Link wrote August 2, 2006, at From the Roots, the DSCC blog.
"By bringing you the absolute latest breaking news stories as they develop, we hope the Fudge Report will serve as an invaluable resource for those following the Senate campaigns this cycle. The Fudge Report will also follow our rapid response to the Republican attacks and falsehoods," Link wrote.
