In 2012 he wrote: "Justin Woolford of The Change Co., on behalf of The Co-operative, introduces the inaugural meeting of a new group of civil society champions who today launch their vision for community energy in the UK with Chris Huhne, the Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change. The group has been brought together by The Co-operative, Forum for the Future and Carbon Leapfrog and coincides with The Co-operative's launch of their new Community Energy Challenge."

On May 1, 2013 he wrote: "Not obviously about campaigning this one ... but I’ve just written up a small research project on the nature-based rite of passage ‘vision quest’ and how it acts therapeutically. I used a method called Thematic Analysis (Braun & Clarke, 2006) to examine qualitative data from a focus group and an online survey with vision quest guides." In July 2014 he wrote: "For the past six months, I've been leading communications for the Global Ocean Commission, an independent international commission made up of various notable figures including José María Figueres, Trevor Manuel and David Miliband, and focused on high seas governance and ocean health. The Commission reported on June 24th - you can read about that here and listen to David Miliband narrating an animation about their inquiry. For the release of its final report, working with Campaign Strategy and Communications Inc in London and Brand Union in New York, we framed the Commission's proposals as a 'rescue package for the ocean' and its call to action as Mission Ocean."
