The Lowy Institute is a neoliberal international policy think tank based in Sydney (Australia). According to its website, the Institute's "objective is to generate new ideas and dialogue on international developments and Australia’s role in the world." [1]

The Institute was brainchild of Westfield founder Frank Lowy who spent AU$30m in 2003 to establish the Lowy Institute for International Policy. [2]
