"Women's Earth Alliance, an Earth Island Institute project, is a response to the mandate created by this group of women during these early stages. The WEA team spent 3 years piloting the ideas and concepts for an initiative that would equip women with the appropriate technologies, timely trainings, much needed financial support, and global networking opportunities crucial to their success and to the success of their communities."
