User talk:Andrewkavon
Hello Andrewkavon,
Welcome to Congresspedia and SourceWatch. As the associate editor of Congresspedia, I try to greet new users and offer any guidance I can help them get acquainted with the site. We appreciate your addition to the page of Rep. McDermott, and hope that you will continue editing. We do, however, require that all new information on the site include a linked reference, and hope that you will provide one. While editing on the site, your best reference is going to be the Congresspedia help page, which links to just about every other help or guideline page you’ll need. Feel free to use my talk page or email me at efullmer AT congresspedia.org if I can be of any assistance.

Andrewkavon,
Noting the previous positions held by members of Congress is certainly ok, so long as it is properly sourced. In most of the profiles, this information is discussed in paragragh form, rather than through a list. In the interest of keeping the site consistent, it is probably best to do it this way. Feel free to contact me with any other questions.
