Sulfonamides are a category of antibiotic pharmaceuticals.
Sufonamides include the following drugs:[1]
- Sulfamethizole (Brand name: Thiosulfil Forte)
- Sulfamethoxazole (Brand names: Gantanol, Urobak)
- Sulfisoxazole (Brand name: Gantrisin)
- Trimethoprim-Sulfamethoxazole (Brand names: Bactrim, Bactrim DS, Cotrim, Cotrim DS, Septra, Septra DS, Sulfatrim, Sulfatrim-DS)
