Sulfonamides are a category of antibiotic pharmaceuticals.

Sufonamides include the following drugs:

• Sulfamethizole (Brand name: Thiosulfil Forte)
• Sulfamethoxazole (Brand names: Gantanol, Urobak)
• Sulfisoxazole (Brand name: Gantrisin)
• Trimethoprim-Sulfamethoxazole (Brand names: Bactrim, Bactrim DS, Cotrim, Cotrim DS, Septra, Septra DS, Sulfatrim, Sulfatrim-DS)
