Biographical Information
"Stuart MacFarlane is from Sydney, Australia, and is now based in London where he lives with Penelope Tree and their son, Michael. In the early seventies he lived in India whilst studying Advaita Vedanta and yoga with his beloved guru, Swami Karunananda Saraswati. He later studied psychology and psychotherapy, and has been in private practice for over twenty years. Stuart recently completed a seven-year training in Analytical Psychology and is now a practicing Jungian psychotherapist. He met Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche in 1985 and is currently absorbed in trying to clarify the similarities and differences between Vajryana Buddhism and Jung’s Analytical Psychology."[1]
His son is Michael McFarlane.
