The St Joseph’s College Indigenous Fund "was established in 2005 to provide financial assistance for educational and other associated costs to disadvantaged Indigenous students from rural, regional and metropolitan areas of NSW. The St Joseph’s College Indigenous Fund was established by Andrew Penfold, Tom Drake-Brockman and Michelle Gray with the St Joseph’s College Foundation Limited (the “Trustee”), as the trustee of the Fund. The Fund was officially launched by the Patron of the Fund, Sir William Deane AC KBE former Governor-General of Australia, on 29 July 2005, and fundraising activities commenced in January 2006." [1]
