Simon Herd

"Simon has a long-standing interest in philanthropy and the non-profit sector. He has been a member of The Myer Foundation since 1997 and was appointed a director in 2003. Simon helped launch OurCommunity.com.au in 2000-2001 before pursuing a law degree and working as a lawyer for a number of years. Simon wrote his honours thesis, on the topic of ‘The Public Accountability of Philanthropic Foundations.’ He has now returned to Our Community to oversee the development of a number of projects."
