Sathirakoses Nagaprateepa Foundation
The Sathirakoses-Nagapradeepa Foundation "is a Thai non-governmental organisation (NGO) guided by a spiritual, environmental, and activist vision. The foundation is named after the late two prominent Thai scholars, Sathirakoses and Nagapradeepa, who were the intellectual link of the traditional and modern Thai society. Founded by Sulak Sivaraksa in 1968, it has become the 'mother' foundation for several sister organisations that have continued to struggle at the grassroots, national, regional and international levels for freedom, human rights, traditional cultural integrity, social justice and environmental protection." [1]
"Along with these regional networks we also work with like minded friends in the rest of the world. These include the UNPO (Under-represented Nations and Peoples Organization), the Alliance for a Responsible and United World, the Boulder Institute for Nature and Human Spirit, Findhorn Foundation, the International Society for Ecology and Culture and Schumacher College. We also work with a number of funding agencies in Europe, UK, Japan and USA. We also have close links with the Greens in New Zealand and Australia. For information about our Affiliates in the rest of the world see Our Affiliates: World." [2]
