Biographical Information

"Reed Paget is an environmental-entrepreneur with over two decades experience in eco-innovation, green marketing and public speaking.

"Reed is the founder of Belu Water, the UK’s most eco-friendly and fastest growing bottled water brand. Belu is the world’s first carbon neutral bottled water, the first in Europe to use compostable bottles made from corn and the first to commit all profits to clean water projects.

"Reed’s most recent venture, One Earth Innovation, is focused on developing and financing a wide range of eco-friendly products. One Earth has numerous products in development and Reed Paget is an expert at taking an idea from the back of a napkin through product design, finance, manufacturing, distribution, sales, marketing and back into the recycling stream.

"Reed also co-founded Ecocap Ltd. which has patented a new bottle cap design to help increase the recycling of plastic caps.

"Reed Paget was named UK Social Entrepreneur of the Year in 2008 by the Schwab Foundation; he was a Social Enterprise Ambassador for the UK Cabinet Office between 2007-2010, he is on the Advisory Board of the Sustainable Restaurant Association and he is a member of the Entrepreneur's Organization.

"Reed is an inspiring public speaker and has spoken at corporate, educational and environmental events including the World Economic Forum in Davos, Oxford University, London Business School and numerous conferences on green business, eco-friendly packaging and social enterprise.

"Reed started his career as a journalist and filmmaker. Along with producing television news in New York, he produced and directed the award-winning documentary film Amerikan Passport about the end of the Cold War. Shot in 11 warzones on five continents, the film documents Reed’s journey from the crackdown in Tiananmen Square and the civil war in South Africa to the collapse of the Soviet Union and scud missiles landing in Israel. The film has screened in over 15 countries and can be seen on the Sundance Now website (http://www.sundancenow.com/film/amerikan-passport/423)."[1]
