RedHampshire.com, or RedHampshire was launched in 2009[1] by former New Hampshire Republican Party Political Director Tom DeRosa and was originally posed as a Republican alternative to the successful blogging and community Democratic web site Blue Hampshire. The site's About page states, "RedHampshire is not paid for or authorized by any political candidate or organization. The bills are paid entirely through advertising and our small wallet." However, in 2010 Blue Hampshire bloggers noticed that some pages on the RedHampshire site contained the statement "...RedHampshire, a subdivision of Eagle Publishing, Inc...."[2] The national site RedState.com is also owned by Eagle Publishing.
