Rachel's Action Network
Rachel's Action Network (RAN) "Founded in 2004 and named in honor of Rachel Carson, RAN is dedicated to promoting and supporting women leaders who are advocates for a healthy environment.
"In the 110th Congress, the proportion of women has reached an all-time high, and this year’s election could increase that number even more. According to Rutgers University’s Center for American Women and Politics, nine women are running in U.S. Senate races, and 155 women are running for seats in the U.S. House of Representatives. As the 2008 election heats up, and more women get involved as candidates, donors, and voters, RAN will ensure that you stay connected.
"RAN is the sister organization of Rachel’s Network". [1]
