Adelaide Park "As a trustee and vice president of the Park Foundation, Adelaide helps review and award grants primarily to educational, media, social, and environmental NGOs, with a current focus on independent media and potable water. She has established scholarships at universities and colleges and has funded PBS programs including "Nova," "Nature," Ken Burns's "Jazz," "Now," "Frontline," and environmental documentaries. She is on the board of Defenders of Wildlife and has served on the Ithaca College board of trustees since 1996. She is active in local environmental projects and supports peace and political causes."
