The New Organizing Institute was one of the main organization behind 99% Spring in 2012. It describes itself as a group that "trains young, technology-enabled political organizers to work for progressive campaigns and organizations. The Institute is being created by experienced online organizers in conjunction with MoveOn.org to fill an urgent need in progressive politics." [1]
"The New Organizing Institute Education Fund (NOIEF), is affiliated with NOI. The two entities are legally and financially distinct." [1]
