On 1 January 2013, the Daycare Trust merged with the Family and Parenting Institute (FPI).
"FPI lobbies successfully for UK families on the issues that matter to them. Our campaign to protect health visitors numbers was first launched in 2007. By 2010 the Coalition government pledged to boost their numbers by 4,200 – a huge success, giving this vital but long-neglected service a brighter future. " [1]
