Mike Emmerich is a trustee of the New Local Government Network. He is the Director of the newly created Institute for Political and Economic Governance at the University of Manchester.
He is an appointed Trustee of the National Heritage Memorial Fund [1]
Acted as a Labour Party election agent.[2]
