Martin Teitel
Martin Teitel "is the President of the David H. Smith Foundation. Prior to this position he directed the Committee for Responsible Genetics and Editor of Genewatch. He is the author of Rain Forest in Your Kitchen and Genetically Engineered Food: Changing the Nature of Nature. In addition he has written articles on food, biotechnology, and human rights that have appeared in Utne Reader Vegetarian Times, among others. Teitel has a PhD from The Union Institute. For two decades he served as Executive Director of the CS Fund, a progressive foundation focussed on dissent and diversity. Currently, Teitel teaches at the Harvard Divinity School." [1]
