Lise Hanssen "has over 12 years of experience in large carnivore conservation. She was a co-founder of the Africat Foundation, and held the position of director of the foundation for ten years, as well as being on the board of trustees. For a period of eight years she was a co-owner of a tourism lodge and developed eco-tourism ventures related to the carnivore conservation field." [1]
