Lejla Mavris

Lejla Mavris "is a founding member and currently the executive director of Global Majority. She holds a Master’s degree in International Policy Studies and a Certificate in Conflict Resolution from the Monterey Institute of International Studies. She received further training in conflict analysis through United States Institute of Peace. For the past three years Lejla has taught negotiation, mediation, and conflict resolution skills to students and teachers of Monterey County and beyond. She was as an assistant training consultant at the Institute for International Mediation and Conflict Resolution programs in Prague and Cyprus. Previously, Lejla worked at the United Nations Refugee Agency office in Geneva for the International Professional Service Semester, where she published work on refugee smuggling and migration. She served as an intern at the United Nations Development Programme in Sarajevo, BH. Lejla is from Sarajevo, Bosnia-Herzegovina." [1]
