WARNING! Sewage sludge is toxic. Food should not be grown in "biosolids." Join the Food Rights Network.

Layne Baroldi is a Regional VP of Project Development at Synagro, a company that sells sewage sludge as "compost."[1] Previously, Baroldi was the Environmental Supervisor of the Orange County Sanitation District and a Mayor of City of La Habra Heights. [2]

He is mentioned in documents obtained under an open records investigation of collusion among the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission and various external individuals and entities in the defense and promotion of promoting sewage sludge as "organic biosolids compost." (See Chez Sludge for background information. SFPUC Open Records Investigation 2010 is an article containing a list of all individuals mentioned in the internal documents.)
