Dr. Laila Al-Marayita "is the Director of Obstetrics and Gynecology of California Family Care at California Hospital Medical Center, a Clinical Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Southern California School of Medicine, and a staff physician for in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Northeast Valley Health Center. She is spokesperson for the Muslim Women's League and a member of the Board of Directors of Muslim Public Affairs Council. Between 1991-2001, she served as the Presidential Appointee to the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom, and as a member of the U.S. State Department’s Advisory Committee for Religious Freedom Abroad between 1996-1999." She is married to Salam S. Al-Marayati [2]
