Mr. Jos van Gennip serves on the executive board of the Netherlands Institute for Multiparty Democracy. He "was director of the development cooperation organisation Cebemo (now Cordaid), and deputy director general for development cooperation in the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He was also director of the Research Institute of the CDA. Mr. van Gennip is currently combining his work as senator with a number of other activities, including being chairman of the NCDO, and membership in the executive board of International IDEA and the Society International Development."
