Biographical Information

"Jessica Prentice is a professional chef and author of Full Moon Feast: Food and the Hunger for Connection. She is the co-founder of Locavores, a co-creator of the Local Foods Wheel, and one of the founding worker-owners of Three Stone Hearth, a Community Supported Kitchen in Berkeley, California that provides nutrient-dense foods."[1]

Jessica coined the word “locavore” and co-created the Local Foods Wheels. Her first book, Full Moon Feast was released from Chelsea Green Publishing in 2006.
