"Jean-Pierre Denis graduated from the French business school HEC and ENA. He was Deputy General Secretary of the Cabinet of French President Jacques Chirac from 1995 to 1997.

"Mr. Denis was appointed advisor to the Chairman of CGE (renamed Vivendi) from 1997 to 1999. Mr. Denis was Chairman of Dalkia (now part of Veolia Environnement) from 1999 to 2003, and a member of the Executive Board of Vivendi Environnement, (now Veolia Environnement) from 2000-2003. He then became Chairman and CEO of the Oseo Group from 2005 to 2007, and is currently Chairman of Credit Mutuel de Bretagne and Credit Mutuel Arkea.

"Jean-Pierre Denis has been a Director of Kering since June 9, 2008. His term of office was renewed by the Combined General Meeting on April 29, 2016 and will expire at the Annual General Meeting called to approve the financial statements for the year ended December 31, 2019." [1]
