"Dalkia’s first contract energy management contract was signed in 1938 – and its a contract we still maintain!

"Dalkia started it’s operations in the UK in 1966 with the formation of Associated Heat Services by Sir Derek Ezra (later Lord Ezra) the then Chairman of the National Coal Board. He had a vision to create a down-stream energy management business to address the growing concerns around escalating fuel and energy prices in the late 1960's" [1]

In 2001, Dalkia became a subsidiary of the Veolia Environnement Group. "Underpinning our CSR philosophy is the strong influence of our parent organisation Veolia Environnement, one of the world's leading environmental organisations. We have adopted their ten-point environmental charter and implement their initiatives and programmes on a local basis." [2]
