Jared Blumenfeld is the Regional Administrator for the EPA's Region 9 which includes northern California.

He is mentioned in documents obtained under an open records investigation of collusion among the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission and various external individuals and entities in the defense and promotion of promoting sewage sludge as "organic biosolids compost."
