J. Flynn Bucy

Dr. Bucy "has over 22 years of experience spanning the fields of international development and environment as well as management and consulting with private industry. He was involved in a series of long term consulting projects with several high technology and internet companies including: Hewlett Packard, NetSource, Knowledge Ventures Partners, and Condor Technology. Prior to this Dr. Bucy was President of Vanguard Technology, which specialized in commercializing emerging technologies. He served as Associate Director of Entrepreneurship and Professor of Entrepreneurship at Baylor University where he focused on financing for technologically based high growth companies. Dr. Bucy also held the position of Vice President of Marketing for EDS in Washington, DC. Subsequently, he was a Partner with Carl Stevens Group, after having started his career with Arthur Andersen. During his consulting career, Dr. Bucy has worked with a number of international development agencies, including the World Bank and the US Agency for International Development. He has worked on numerous projects providing education, research and capacity building for sustainable development in over sixteen countries. He has also spent time with EarthVoice, a leading non-profit environmental group, where he developed and implemented numerous projects involving sustainable energy and information technology promoting sustainable development.

"Dr. Bucy received his Ph.D. from George Washington University, where he majored in Organizational Behavior and Development, with a minor in Business, Economics and Public Policy. He obtained an MBA in International Business from Baylor University, and holds an undergraduate degree in Economics."[1]
