EarthVoice "was created as the global environmental arm of The Humane Society of the United States (HSUS). Conceived and launched in 1991 by John A. Hoyt, who then served as President of The HSUS, EarthVoice was created with a mandate to extend the concerns of animal protection into the environmental movement and into the global arena. Executive Director of Earth Voice, Jan Hartke, also serves as President of EC USA." [1]
