Italia Federici is the president of the Council of Republicans for Environmental Advocacy (CREA). "Federici is a former political aide to Interior Secretary Gale Norton and a confidante of other department officials, most notably former Deputy Interior Secretary Steven Griles." [1]


"In the mid-1990s, a woman named Italia Federici worked on former Colorado Attorney General Gale Norton's failed bid for the U.S. Senate. Then the two women teamed up to create an organization called the Coalition of Republicans for Environmental Advocacy. ... The group [is] now called the Council of Republicans for Environmental Advocacy," reported the Rocky Mountain News.
