In Latin America, Sun Myung Moon "acts through two associations, International Cause and Aula, and often presents his movement as a charitable organisation. In 1984, he created the International Security Council, which was presided over two years later by the former secretary-general of the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO), Joseph Luns." [1]
