"IDSC was founded in 2008 by Mr. Maged Hosny, an Ashoka fellow and prominent figure in the Egyptian development community.
"The IDSC team is the first of its kind in Egypt. While youth unemployment is a widely-recognized problem, IDSC is the first organization to focus on preventative solutions such as career counseling. In 2006, Mr. Hosny developed a comprehensive career counseling system which has now been implemented with major development organizations, including the German Agency for Technical Cooperation (GTZ) and Aga Khan Development Network. Over 500 young people have been served." [1]
