Biographical Information

"Mr. Hisham Nazer heads the Nazer Group, a diverse holding company, with various interests in information technology, healthcare and property development, and remains one of the world's most respected oil experts. Mr. Nazer is regularly pursued for advice on energy issues by major oil companies and governments across the globe. Beginning his career in the oil industry in 1960, Mr. Nazer was the first governor to represent Saudi Arabia on the OPEC Board of Governors. In 1989, Mr. Nazer was named the first Saudi Chairman of the Board of the newly established Saudi Arabian Oil Company (Saudi Aramco). Mr. Nazer was Oil Minister of Saudi Arabia from 1986 to 1995 and ex-chairman of Saudi Aramco, the largest oil company in the world. He serves as Member of advisory board of Aspect Enterprise Solutions Ltd. Mr. Nazer is also an accomplished author, having published the book, Power of a Third Kind. Mr. Nazer completed his studies at UCLA, receiving a B.A. with honors in International Relations and an M.A. in Political Science. He holds Honorary Doctor of Law degrees from the University of Korea and the American University in Cairo."[1]
