Aspect Enterprise Solutions was founded in 1999, as OILspace, "a web services company that delivers real-time information and business services to customers in the physical oil and refined products markets," was established in 1999 by co-founders Steve Hellman and Lawrence Austen, who "recognized that web services provide tremendous opportunities for companies working in the traditional physical oil and refined products markets."
