Harley Wright
Harley Wright appeared on an Australian television panel debate on nuclear power as a member of the UK-based Environmentalists for Nuclear Energy.
In the debate Wright argued that nuclear power "should be sensibly considered as one of the options to use ... And so to rule one out on sort of political grounds is a ludicrous approach. It is a matter of keeping all options available and determining the appropriate one for the price at the time." He also endorsed the proposed inquiry into the nuclear industry in Australia as being a "very good approach ... We have a panel of experts, experts in this country, who will be able to pull together the scientific evidence, the facts, take the emotion out of this and get some objectivity into the debate." [1]
