The Global Climate and Energy Project is an industry funded project at Stanford University. A foundin sponsor is ExxonMobil[1] , in partnership with General Electric and Schlumberger and Toyota. Exxon is reported to contribute $100 million , Over the course of a decade, the four sponsors will invest $225 million at Stanford and other leading institutions into the project.[2]
William O'Keefe President of the George C. Marshall Institute wrote a glowing reception to the GCEP project in 2002 for The International Herald Tribune[3]
