Biographical Information
"Evelyn Bourke joined Bupa on 24th September 2012 as the Chief Financial Officer, responsible for Group Finance, Actuarial, Treasury, Tax, Internal Audit and Risk.
"Previously Evelyn joined Friends Provident/Life plc in 2009 as CFO. She was appointed Chief Commercial Officer of Friends Life Group (FLG) in August 2011 with responsibility for Group Strategy & Capital, including the Solvency II program, the management of the Heritage business within FLG and the oversight of Sesame Bankhall Group.
"Prior to this, Evelyn joined Standard Life as Group Strategy and Planning Director in April 2005 and played a major part in its demutualisation and IPO. From 2006 to 2008, she was Finance Director of Standard Life UK Financial Services which included [[Standard Life Assurance] Limited, Standard Life Bank and Standard Life Healthcare.
"Evelyn is a qualified actuary with an MBA from London Business School, and has significant experience in financial services having been CEO of Chase de Vere Investments plc (an IFA) and a principal at Tillinghast-Towers Perrin.
"Evelyn is also a non executive director of IFG." [1]
