Biographical Information

"Ms. Tavoulareas works at the intersection of digital media, international development, and social entrepreneurship. She is a digital communications strategist with a focus on content creation, partnership-building, and community management in the online space. She currently works with Ashoka’s Changemakers, a leader in the field of social entrepreneurship. Prior to her work at Ashoka she was a part of the strategic communications team at ICF International, where she conceptualized and implemented the US-Saudi Women’s Forum on Social Entrepreneurship, and led the creation and implementation of online strategy for the US-Middle East Partnership for Breast Cancer Awareness and Research. Evagelia has substantial international experience, particularly in the Middle East.

"Her experience is most concentrated in Saudi Arabia, where she worked with women and young entrepreneurs. Other countries she has worked in include Jordan and the United Arab Emirates, through work with the U.S. Department of State’s Middle East Partnership Initiative. She received her Masters degree in International Affairs from American University, and her Bachelors degree from the College of William and Mary."[1]
