Equifax Inc. is a publicly owned consumer reporting agency founded in Atlanta, Georgia in 1899.[1] According to the company's website, "Equifax "leverage one of the largest sources of consumer and commercial data, along with advanced analytics and propriety technology, to create customized insights that enrich both the performance of businesses and the lives of consumers."[1]The company is headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia.[2]
In 2011, Equifax reported $1,959,800,000 in operating revenue.[3]
