Elaine Shaughnessy (UK)

"Elaine is Head of Development for the Linnean Society of London. The Society’s guiding principle is ‘the cultivation of the science of natural history in all its branches’. After graduating in Ecology, Elaine worked for the publisher Editions Alecto Ltd on many historical projects in collaboration with international natural history museums and galleries, including the major projects Banks’ Florilegium and Audubon’s Birds of America. More recently Elaine was Head of Publishing for IUCN -The World Conservation Union publishing on biodiversity, conservation and sustainable development. She is a Member of Council for the Society of History for Natural History (SHNH)." [1]
