Ed Smith "is the former Global Assurance COO and Strategy Chairman of PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC). He recently retired from a 30 year career with PwC where he held many leading roles as a senior partner.
"He now enjoys a portfolio of Board roles in education, thought leadership and sustainable development as well as a number of commercial interests. He is Chairman of WWF-UK and a member of its International Board & Audit Committee. He is a Board member of the Higher Education Funding Council for England, Chair of British Universities & Colleges Sport, Trustee and Treasurer of The Work Foundation as well as Deputy Chair of the Managing Partners Forum and on the Board of Opportunity Now.
