Dennis Kelly, "president and CEO of Zoo Atlanta joined the Fossey board in 2005. Zoo Atlanta has provided office space and other administrative resources to the Fossey Fund since the Fund moved to Atlanta in 1995. “As an institution that has placed a great deal of focus on its great ape collection, we are proud of the relationship we have with The Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund,” says Mr. Kelly. “Zoo Atlanta’s support of the Fund’s international headquarters allows them to commit more of their financial resources toward conserving gorillas in the wild. I am honored to have the opportunity to serve as a member of the board of directors to further support the organization’s critical mission.”

"The Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund International, with its home office at Zoo Atlanta, is dedicated to the conservation and protection of gorillas and their habitats in Africa, and maintains a staff of trackers and anti-poaching patrols in Rwanda’s Parc National des Volcans at the Karisoke Research Center."
