Dean R. Kleckner is the chairman of the Truth About Trade and Technology website. According to the site, Kleckner "served seven two-year terms as president of the American Farm Bureau Federation. Mr. Kleckner owns a 350-acre family farm near Rudd, Iowa - raising corn, soybeans and hogs. As a strong advocate of reduced protectionism and freer trade worldwide, Mr. Kleckner was the only farmer on the U.S. advisory team to the GATT negotiations when they began in September 1986 in Uruguay.
