Little, where he headed the firm’s high tech consulting practice in Silicon Valley, and a vice president at Radius, a computer peripherals company, where he held line management responsibility for product and strategic marketing. His private sector experience spans marketing and positioning, business plan development, and business unit strategy.

He was executive director at Rockridge Institute, where he worked on ground-breaking approaches to strategic communications. He was president of New Voice of Business, a California business advocacy group that advocates for climate protection.
