Colombia Journal
Colombia Journal
"The mission of Colombia Journal is to promote political, social and economic justice in Colombia by creating a greater awareness and understanding of U.S. foreign policy. To this end, Colombia Journal provides investigative reports based on field research conducted in Colombia and editorial analysis from a variety of perspectives on the left—from the moderate, center-left (social democrats) to the hard left (socialists)—as an alternative to the mainstream corporate media, which is over-dependent on official sources. We believe that easy and affordable access to information and analysis on US foreign policy in Colombia from perspectives other than that presented by the establishment media is essential if citizens are to effectively participate in the democratic process."
