Bart Broome is the Government Relations Manager at the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission. [1]Prior to that Bart worked as a legislative policy staffer, for California Assemblyman Paul Koretz (D-West Hollywood), and also for California Assemblyman Mark Leno (D-San Francisco). He was involved in the passage of HIV and LGBT rights legislation passed in California.
Bart graduated from Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service and worked for 12 years in retail merchandise planning and import/export business with Asia, North America, and Europe.
He is mentioned in documents obtained under an open records investigation of collusion among the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission and various external individuals and entities in the defense and promotion of promoting sewage sludge as "organic biosolids compost."
