The Atlantic Council of the United Kingdom was formed in 1994 through a merger of the British Atlantic Committee and Peace Through NATO. See http://www.atlantic-council.org.uk/
The Atlantic Council of the United Kingdom is a non-governmental organisation. It exists to further knowledge and interest in the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation. It is a registered charity.
The Atlantic Council receives funds on an annual basis from Her Majesty's Government.
It is a member of the Atlantic Treaty Association.
